Welcome to the Pembrokeshire Association of Local Councils (known as PALC)

Membership entitles local councils in Pembrokeshire to information on local issues;  planning law and planning practice;  code of conduct and employment and liaison with the two Local Authorities in Pembrokeshire.

Legal advice through a recommended third party is available at a small cost (currently £75).

PALC facilitates community and town councils liaison with Pembrokeshire County Council and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.   Representation at County level and networking amongst member councils ensures that a valuable community interface is maintained.

Through its newsletter containing relevant articles and information on current local and national issues, and its website,  PALC facilitates communication within the Town and Community Council network.

Following its successful series of training sessions last year,  PALC intends holding more sessions for Clerks and Councillors of all Town and Community Councils in Pembrokeshire.
